I received a BA from Willamette University with Majors in both Business Economics and English. After college I spent 3 years at a large advertising agency (Brown Dugan & Associates, Inc.) writing copy, buying media and representing clients as an Account Executive. In the early 90's I had the opportunity to become the clothing buyer for a chain of Portland stores (The Jean Machine) working with multi-million dollar budgets and juggling marketing plans for 7 stores. When my children were born I took a 'leave' from the workplace. During this time, however, I started an e-Bay home business where I sold products ranging from jewelry to cars!
